To find a greatest common factor the child forges a number that cuts both ingots into equal bars with no leftover chip; to find a least common multiple, two multiple-tracks must both land exactly on the chosen height. The tiling makes divisibility and common multiples visible instead of abstract. The game builds GCF, LCM, factors, multiples, and divisibility — distinct from prime factorization.
