Two meshed gears turn together, and the child works out how many times the small gear spins for the big gear's turns — setting the spins, the gear's teeth, or the ratio itself. The meshing law (teeth × turns balance) makes gear ratios and inverse proportion concrete. Best for Grades 5–6.
