A mystery number hides on the suspect board. Clues arrive one at a time — cross off every number card a clue rules out until one suspect stands!
Number cards hang on a detective corkboard, and clues arrive one at a time — "the number is EVEN", "it is GREATER than 20". Children test every card against the clue and cross off the ones it eliminates; wrong crosses bounce back with an explanation using the real number, and after two or three clues exactly one suspect remains to accuse. The rounds build even/odd thinking, number comparison, digit knowledge and skip-counting — deduction by elimination rather than answer-guessing. Well suited to Grades 1–2, or any early learner ready to reason about numbers.
A free, no-signup, no-ads math game for Grades 1–2 — practising odd-even, comparing-numbers, skip-counting, number-sense. Play in your browser on the KidsDoMath games hub or explore more Counting & Numbers games.
