Aim your blaster at the digit segment in the right place and fire — a blasted digit becomes a 0 mushroom that holds its place, so 347 turns into 307.
Place-Value Centipede plays like Centipede: a centipede made of digit segments that reads as one number crawls down toward your garden, and you aim the blaster at the segment the order names — the digit in the tens place, the digit worth 400, or the one digit to blast so 5,382 becomes 5,082. A blasted digit turns into a 0 mushroom that keeps its place, so 347 becomes 307 and never 37, which builds the placeholder-zero idea, and the decoys (the same digit sitting in another place) target the belief that a 4 is always worth 4. A wrong shot makes the centipede lurch closer and reaching the garden only sends it back to the top with a one-line tip, never a game over. Best for Grades 2–4.
