Customers walk down the counters with orders like 8 + 5 — build their cookie tray out of tens and ones and slide it to them before they reach the bar.
Snack Bar Tapper plays like Tapper: customers walk down two or three counters holding addition orders, and the child picks a counter, builds the cookie tray in ten-frames (+10, +5, +1) and slides it to the front customer before they reach the bar — sums to 10, then teen sums that bridge 10, then fill-up orders like 8 + ? = 13. A wrong tray slides back with the child's own count ("12 is too few for 8 + 5"), which targets counting-on slips and the missing-part confusion, while customers who reach the bar simply rejoin the line after the fact is shown, so the rush never ends the game. Best for Grades 1–3.
