Grade 7 fraction games practice adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing rational numbers, including negative fractions, and changing fractions to decimals.
In grade 7, fractions become rational numbers. Children add, subtract, multiply and divide positive and negative fractions and decimals. They use long division to turn a fraction into a decimal and see that it either ends or repeats, as in 1/3 = 0.333…, and they find unit rates from fractions, such as 1/2 mile in 1/4 hour.
