Free Math & Science Games for Kids — By the Numbers

By Oded Deckelbaum · Published October 9, 2026

Kids Do Math is a free, no-ads, no-login library of 399 browser games for grades K–6 — 199 math games across 11 topics and 200 science games across 35 topics. Nothing to install, no account, no cost. Here is the catalogue, by the numbers.

The catalogue

  • 399 free games, all browser-based — no ads, no login, no sign-up.
  • 199 math across 11 topic strands: counting, arithmetic, money, fractions, ratios, geometry, coordinates & algebra, data & probability, time, measurement, and patterns & logic.
  • 200 science across 35 topics, each built as predict → observe → explain, where a counter-intuitive result teaches the concept (which falls faster, where a plant’s mass comes from, current in a series circuit).
  • Grade bands K–6; every game tagged by topic, grade, and skill.

What kids actually replay

From the site’s own privacy-safe play counter (cookieless, no accounts), across the 368 games with play data in a 28-day window ending 2026-10-09: kids recorded 29,519 level-ups across 16,553 game opens. About 13% of played games pull kids into multiple rounds (two or more level-ups per open). The deepest voluntary replay goes to the fluency-building skills, not the one-and-done concept games: Order Ops, MTC Practice, Deep Sea Vector Salvage, Ruler Ranger, Shape Shipyard, Prime Factory.

An honest note: this is a young, fast-growing catalogue, and most games are still finding their first players — the engagement figures are modest and we are not spinning them as a success story. The durable value here is the catalogue itself: the most complete free, no-ads, no-login K–6 math and science game set we know of, mapped by topic and grade.

Methodology

Catalogue figures are computed at each site build directly from the game registry, so they cannot drift from the rest of the site. Engagement figures come from a cookieless aggregate counter that tallies, per day, how many times each game was opened and how far players advanced — no identifiers, no cross-site tracking, with bot and automation traffic excluded. Counts are recomputed on every deploy. See our privacy page for how the counter works.
